한글내용 (Korean Abstract)	802.15.4 네트워크의 성능 분석에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되었는데 기존의 연구는 시뮬레이션이나 수학적 모델링에 의한 분석이 대부분이며 실제 동작 환경에서의 실험을 통한 성능 평가는 미미하였다. 본 논문에서는 802.15.4 MAC을 탑재한 센서 노드 장비를 사용하여 다양한 환경에서 그 성능을 실측하였다. 실험을 통해 1)802.15.4 MAC의 최대 처리율, 2)여러 개의 노드들이 경쟁할 경우의MAC 공정성, 3)동일한 대역폭을 사용하는 무선랜 공존 시 충돌에 따른 성능 변화를 측정하고 패킷손실률과 최대처리율로 분석하였다.
영문내용 (English Abstract)	In spite of the large interest in the 802.15.4 standard, no realistic experimental research of its behaviour exists to date except a few works by simulations and analytical modeling, In this paper, we have established realistic environment of IEEE 802.15.4 network and analyze its behaviour under various conditions as like 1)maximum throughput 802.15.4 MAC, 2)MAC fairness,and 3)throughput and error rate under co-existence of 802.11 Wi-Fi wireless networks
